started simple and ended open...

MFT to the rescue again.
I started with the Less Is More Challenge but kept going and decided to join the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.
The base card is black card stock which I ran through the BigShot with one of the dies from MFT Die-namics “Gift Shaker Window & Frame”.
I also cut the frame part with the black card stock.
On white card stock I stamped the pumpkins from Taylored Expressions “Peek-a-Boo Pumpkins”.
I trimmed them out to put in the “windows” and drew faces with a black permanent pen.
On another piece of black card stock I stamped the verse from the same set with Versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder.
I glued in the pumpkins and added the sign.

  1. A couple of those pumpkins look really evil - great fun card. Love the idea of havinf them sit on the window sill. Thanks for joining us at the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

  2. Wow, Arlene, what a great design for your Hallowe'en card! I love that both the base cardstock and window frame are black. The window panes make a wonderful backdrop for those scheming pumpkins (I daresay they plot all sorts of mayhem after dark). Love the heat embossed sentiment, so well placed among the pumpkins. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
