O, Christmas tree...

MFT Summer School 2018 Session 2...Ombre
and
The Merry Christmas Challenge...Anything Goes

Following the wonderful idea for an ombré card from...
I was able to use the tree from MFT Stamps “LDJ Tri The Tree”, and heat emboss it with Versmark ink and clear embossing powder.
Then I did the ombré sponging with Distress Oxides cracked pistachio, evergreen bough and lucky clover.
The reason I used the Distress ink was to apply sprinkles of water for a snowfall effect.
After applying it to the base black card I embossed the verse from the same set with Versamark ink and white embossing powder on black card stock.
Then I trimmed it to a strip and notched the edge before taping it to the card front.
