Here’s the front of the card...
But since the new technique is the inside that’s why I placed it first!
I have seen many pop up cards in the past but I really wanted to try and make my outnumbering to fit a particular stamp.
The components are all grey card stock and stamped with StazOn jet black.
The front is stamped first with the verse from Stampin’ Up’s “Autum Apparition” which I then masked before stamping the Hero Arts background bats stamp.
To make the inside I cut and creased another piece of gray card stock like this...
Next I stamped the verse from an ART C Halloween set.
The sponging was done with Distress black soot ink and used MFT Stamps Mix-able stencil “clouds” on the top.
On another piece of grey card stock I stamped the house with attached bats (which I trimmed off later) and trimmed it to fit the pop up piece.
I taped the inside into the card then attached the house and foam taped the bats in the background.
Surprisingly it is a very thin card that does fit nicely in an A2 envelope.
Love all the details inside and outside of the card, especially the pop-up spooky house! So creative! Thanks for playing along with us at Cards In Envy for the Something New challenge. Looking forward to seeing your creative projects in the future galleries again.
