Since I am making Halloween cards I chose the cat die from Tim Holtz “Hocus Oxus Jumbo” set and the verse from Tim Holtz “Happy Halloween Mini Blueprints” set.
The base card is black linen card stock.
The main piece is heavy white card stock where I applied the technique and I used water to make splatters by lifting the ink.
I used black fun foam to raise the cat.
The verse was inked with Versamark ink and embossed with a very old, but still usable, Ranger Adirondack ginger embossing powder.
I must say the so far the mat is great because I don’t have to set up an embossing station!
I also love how it cleans up easily and I can do multiple cards without wasting scrap paper!
