The second I saw this challenge...
“I spy with my little eye something beginning with B”
It made me think of the beautiful Beatles song...
As the lyrics go...
“Black bird singing in the dead of night”
I decided to do a nighttime background with water color paper, Distress black soot ink and water.
Next I sprinkled coarse salt on it to get that starry look.
Then I stamped the image, Penny Black’s “Winter Ledge”, and verse, Penny Black’s “snippets”, using StazOn jet black ink.
Next came a layer of white card stock onto a base card of black card stock.
Gorgeous card! But I am here to let you know you were a winner at the Send a Smile 4 Kids Christmas in July challenge. Come see here and then send me an email to arrange to get your prize. https://sendasmile4kidschallenge.blogspot.com/2018/08/anything-goes-4-kids-challenge-and.html
