So wonderful when I am able to use one card for three challenges!
The base card is white card stock.
The strip with the waves is water color paper that I used Distress weathered wood and stormy sky inks to smoosh color all over the strip.
Once it was dry I used MFT Mix-ables “Make Waves” stencil with the Distress stormy sky to sponge on the waves before applying it to the card front.
I flicked some water on the dried piece and pulled it off with a paper towel.
Using MFT Stamps Die-namics “Happy Birthday Circle Frame” I cut it out with white card stock.
On yet another piece of white card stock I stamped the fish from MFT Stamps “Gill Friends” with StazOn jet black ink.
The coloring was done with Prisma pencils, artist stumps and Gamsol.
I trimmed these out and glued them to the die cut circle and trimmed the edges so they look like they are only inside the circle.
After gluing the circle to the card front I stamped the verse from the same MFT set onto black card stock with Versamark ink and white embossing powder then trimmed it out and applied it to the front.
To finish I applied the dots for the sketch with white NUVO drops.
Hi, this is a very fun card...love the sentiment! Kx
