These little cuties inspired me to pull out my Stampin” Up “Summer By The Sea” set and emboss the little guy on watercolor paper with Versamark ink and white embossing powder.
Then it was on to the water colors.
I used Reeves and Koi to get the colors I wanted.
That’s how Susan Branch , one of my favorite water colorists, does it.
She uses cheap and expensive water colors to get all the colors she wants.
Once it was dry I distressed the edges with a distressing tool and applied it to a white base card.
This is one time I felt I shouldn’t put words on the front so they will go on the inside.
