birdhouse thanks...

This is a very old stamp set from Stampin’ Up that contained three scarecrows, though this lady seems to be attracting the birds?
The base card is dark grey card stock with a layer of white card stock with multicolor fibers in it and a layer of pink polka dot card stock.
The lady scarecrow was stamped with StazOn jet black ink and colored with Crayola markers.
She was then die cut using a Lifestyle Crafts nesting circles die.
Next I die cut a piece of the grey card stock with the next circle in the “nest” and applied that and the scarecrow lady to the card front.
The verse os from MFT Stamps “You’re Super” set using MFT Stamps “steel gray” ink.

  1. What an amazing stamped image, Arlene! One seldom sees a lady scarecrow. Since they've attached bird houses and bird feeders to her stick arms, it appears she's serving a dual purpose and is supposed to attract songbirds as well. Love the colours you've used. The background pink and grey really bring it together and compliment your image. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

  4. I love it when the older stamps are used with newer products. They make for a very beautiful exchange as is evident in your beautifully coloured card. Love the pink and gray colour combination. What a terrific Thank You card Arlene. Thanks so much for joining our Feminine Anything Goes challenge at Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
