brave enough to fly...

My Mom loved dragonflies.
But I never knew this until she was in her seventies!
So now every time I work with a dragonfly or see one I think of my Mom.
The card is white linen card stock that I stamped verse and four dragonflies, Impression Obsession, Inc. “Zenspirations”, across the top with StazOn jet black ink.
They were then colored with Southsun Oily Pencils.
Now the fun part....
with a craft knife and self healing mat I cut out and around the dragonflies, making sure I left enough for the card to still fold!

  2. Hi, I really admire how you have cut the gaps between the dragon files with surgical precision. The cluster of dragon files are so beautifully colored. How sweet of you to go for with you mom's fav dragonflies. The choice of sentiment is excellent. Great take on the Inspired by Nature Challenge. Thanks for playing along with us at AAA Cards. Happy crafting. Hugs -Bharati
