It's going to be 90 degrees here in Western New York and though it's Autumn by the calendar it sure doesn't feel like it.
When I saw the colors for this challenge I decided to use my wonderful leaves in these cool colors to try and cool me off!
The base card is white linen card stock.
The next layer is grey card stock.
Using water color paper I stamps one leaf from the MFT "Geometric Greenery" set with StazOn jet black ink.
The water coloring was done with Derwent Inktense pencils.
I cut these out using scissors as I wanted the black edge.
To increase the black on the edge I ran a permanent black marker around each leaf.
The frame was die cut using MFT Die-namics "Pierced Rectangle Staxx" dies the largest and then the next size down.
The window is acetate glued to the frame.
To allow the leaves ample space to move I used foam tape around the back side of the frame.
*HINT- I needed to cut my foam tape in thin strips and it kept sticking to my scissors, to fix that I place the tape on the shiny side of freezer paper so the scissors only cut paper!
*Extra hint...try this on a little piece of your tape first as there are some that just stick!!!

The leaves and sequins were placed in the center of the card front and I taped down the frame.
With white linen card stock and the MFT Die-namics "Thanks" die I cut it out and glued it to the front of the card.
The leaves look fabulous in that colour scheme.
