Autumn colors are coming...

and

Those of you who follow my blog know I usually don't have this large an image of my card for a challenge, but I really wanted to to get to see the scripture!
The base card is water color paper with a layer of grey textured card stock and rust textured card stock.
The main piece is water color paper (that I ran through the printer to get the scripture) with the Penny Black"delicate florals" image stamped using Distress markers rusty hinge and hickory smoke colored directly to the stamp and then spritzed before stamping.
The colored spritzing is done with the same markers and Tim Holtz's Distress Marker Spritzer.

  1. Wow, this is one beautiful card!!! I've been stamping for a few years now and that's one technique I've never tried (spritzing the distress inks on the stamp). It was a perfect idea for stamping those flowers as it makes them so soft, which goes so well with the font of the scripture. Its a fantastic CAS design and I'm so glad you shared it with us at The Flower Challenge this month!
