You can never say thanks enough...

...so I always have a good supply of thank you cards at the ready.

I really wanted to make this card to show people that you don't have to spend a lot to make a card.
The cream card stock for the base card and main image was not that expensive at Michael's in a package for $2.00 when on sale.
The Stamp set is My Favorite Things "You Gnome Me" and I will admit I spent full price for that but I believe that buying a good "set", that you can use many ways e.g. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Christmas, is worth the money.
I stamped the images with StazOn jet black ink, this is my go to ink and I bought the original pad with a coupon, then the re-inkers as they come on sale online.
The colored pencils are Crayola from Target and Artist's Loft from Michael's which cost me no more that $6.00 a set of about 60.
The green car stock is a scrap, save them as much as you can for little projects like this.
The other expense was purchasing a good tape runner, but again I used a coupon and buy all my tape replacements with coupons.

Don't get me wrong I have a packet, or as my husband says his Corvette, invested in this hobby.
But it could be so much worse if I didn't shop the sales and use my coupons!
