Now this is truly something I love to do.
I finally worked out how to get the most from my Distress inks.
I use the Distress mini blending foams, the circular ones, and my larger Distress ink pads for a loaded sponge.
I smoosh it a bit on scrap paper first, then go to town in a circular motion with out pressing too hard.
If you press too hard you get circles.
The base card for this challenge is white card stock on which I stamped the verse and image from Unity Stamp Co.'s "hallow's eve kitty" using StazOn jet black ink.
I cut a Post-it note circle and drew free hand the moon ray on another Post-it note then cut them both out and applied them to the card.
On to the sponging with Distress ink faded jeans for the top and pumice stone for the bottom.
Once they had dried I applied Distress ink black soot over the entire card front, while the masks were still in place.
I removed the masks and very gently applies more black soot.
My inspiration came from the beautiful full moon we had last night!
WOW! Perfect for Halloween!
