Halloween can be patriotic?

Oh, yes I did!
I'm on a mission to get these Halloween cards done so any challenge that comes my way will be turned into Halloween.

The base card is blue textured card stock with a layer of red textured paper that I sponged the edges with Distress black soot ink.
The main piece is white card stock that I stamped the image (unknown company) with Colorbox frost white ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.
I used my Distress Oxide fired brick and faded jeans inks to sponge over the car front.
I then used Distress black soot ink to darken the card front.
On a strip of white card stock I stamped the verse from Art Gone Wild's "Halloween cluttered cabinets" with the white ink and embossed it with the clear embossing powder.
I sponged Distress faded jeans and black soot ink on it and used glue dots to apply it to the front of the card.

  1. Oh my goodness! This is genius! If someone had told me to make a Halloween card using red, white and blue, I would've run for the hills screaming. How clever you are to have pulled this off! I love how you blended the inks so skillfully and how you incorporated the embossing. This is stunning and makes me believe that any crazy challenge combo can work! Thank you for sharing something so remarkable with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

    1. I would like to thank you for not requiring certain colors! I have four different sets of ink pads, full sets, and today I couldn't match a challenge??? But this one was great! So thank you!
