Nothing more personal than reaching out to a friend...

Sometimes I forget to reach out to my friends when life gets crazy.
Sometimes I like being alone, as two friends who are the same way have pointed out to me this week.
But one thing I hope I never do is ignore my friends.
So this card and more that I will make in the future are to let them know that just because I don't call or text it doesn't mean they aren't in my thoughts and prayers.

This card is for a friend who is having a struggle in her life and loves flowers as well as the colors purple and green.

The card is kraft card stock.
I stamped the flowers from Unity Stamp Co.'s "insightful meadows" with my Distress seedless preserves and peeled paint markers.
The white dots were put on with the Distress picket fence marker.
I finished the card by stamping the verse from Unity Stamp Co.'s "steps of courage" set using my Distress seedless preserves ink pad.

  1. What a beautiful, tranquil card. The elegant flowers reaching up the side of the card and that lovely sentiment are just perfect. CAS perfection, and I'm sure your friend will love this. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
