Love these marathon stamping sessions...



Another time to play with the Distress Oxides.
I miss the chalky look that my Fresco inks used to give me.
Not any more, love these inks.

I used a piece of kraft card stock for the base card and added a layer of navy blue.
On another piece of kraft card stock and did a background technique with Distress Oxides vintage photo, faded jeans and peeled paint and water.
I use my heat tool in between the colors for a layering of the inks.
I then die cut cut it using my Sizzix Tim Holtz "globe" die and glued it to the navy blue card stock.
On another piece of kraft card stock I stamped the verse from Tim Holtz "Phrases II" set using Distress ink faded jeans.
To finish the card I trimmed the verse and applied it to the front.
