This really was a challenge for me...

and at some point I might actually get the "moving" card onto my blog but I chickened out and made a shaker card instead.

I hope you can see the white and green sequins under the hugs!
They just didn't want to stay put in a standing position.

I started with a 100lb white card stock from Michael's for a firm card as my base card.
I added a layer of terracotta  paper next.
On another piece of the heavy white card stock I die cut the "hugs" using my Lawn Fawn "Scripty Hugs" die.
I trimmed a piece of acetate, in this case a piece of plastic from one of my dies packaging, a bit smaller than the main "hugs" piece and taped it to the back.
Now using the die cut piece I glued the pieces for  the h,g and s to the acetate.
Because I have a weird sense of humor I stamped the pot and cactus from the Lawn Fawn "Stuck On You" set using Adirondack lettuce and terracotta inks.
(Seriously who's gonna hug a cactus?)
I applied foam tape around the area of the "hugs" on the back of the main piece.
I also put foam tape on the other pieces of the main piece and then I put the sequins in.
Not too many as they won't float around.
To the rectangle of tape around the "hugs" I placed another piece of the terracotta paper.
To that piece I applied tape and glued it to the front of my card.
Shake it up and see the sequins float!

  1. Your card is simply beautiful! Love the shaker in the Scripty Hugs! I like to lay my shaker cards flat to take photos of them :) So glad you joined us at Lawn Fawnatics!
