Weddings and quilts...

for the pioneers as well as for today they are a perfect match.
I have a friend who has the first of her four daughters to marry next year and I can't wait to get started on her quilt.
But since I am not sure of her colors yet I decided to at least get the card ready!

The base card is actually a single piece of gold linen card stock.
The folded piece is white linen card stock.
using the ODBD "Dresden Quilt" die I cut one from white linen card stock and one from the gold linen.
I then glued the mix of the two on the front of the white card which I had taped to the gold linen base piece.
Using the ODBD "Many Blessings" stamp and die set I cut out the "blessings" with gold linen card stock and glued to the bottom of the card.
Using Encore ultimate metallic gold ink I stamped the verse from the "many blessings" set.
