I love a challenge...

I adore when a challenge allows me to use items I all ready have. In this case it was the MY Favorite Things Blog Challenge.

I had the "The a' la modes in Miss You A Latte" by My Favorite Things Rubber Stamps. I added my oval die cutter and my Cuttlebug. Then to my stash, can you tell I quilt as well, of brads. For coloring I used my Prisma Color pencils, Gamsol and artist blending stumps. Inky Antics Rubber Stamps has great instructions for coloring with them.

I even used card stock and patterned paper from my scrap bin.

Isn't it fun to play with a basic card sketch and make it your own!

While shopping at Ollie's...

A few months ago while shopping at Ollie's I found the following package of tags for $1.29. (Sorry I used them all so it's only the empty package)
Then while shopping in Canada at WalMart I found the beautiful "inchie"stamps from Inkadinkadoo.

When my friend, lynda, called me over to stamp yesterday I decided to take some card stock and the two above items and try and create with them. I added my watercolor pencils (which I hadn't used in ages), my water color pen and some mini-brads!!! The following are some of the 12 cards I was able to create with those items.

Sometimes it's good to be limited on your supplies. It makes you more creative. I will admit that lynda had her Cuttlebug out and I used the embossing folders she had to add to the over all effect of the card.
I hope my samples can give you inspiration to
"limit" your creativity!!!
