House Mousing again....

I just had to try another challenge. Stuck home from work...feeling lousy...but just wanted to play a little in between the yuckies!!!
This is what I came up with for the challenge on the House Mouse & Friends Blog.
Back to recuperation now. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

For a serviceman...

Our Daily Bread
came to Rochester last year with a wonderful rubber stamping convention. It was not the first time I had come across them, definitely saw them on the internet, but it was the first time I was able to be interactive with their products.
I only wish I had been able to buy more!
I did find a set that I wanted to use for my cards for servicemen called "Not Forgotten". I have used it before on this blog. This time I decided to use it for a challenge on the Our Daily Bread blog.
They asked for aqua and though I would usually use browns & greens or red, white and blue, I felt this was a real interesting effect.
I hope you try different colors and options when doing your stamping.

For a friend...

A friend and co-worker was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer recently. I just can't believe it.
To try and keep her spirits up while going through chemo I am trying to send her a card every couple of days. I see her at work but I'm trying to separate the cancer from work so she can feel "normal" while at work.
This is my latest that will go out later this week. It is a wonderful tutorial from Anne of Splitcoaststampers.
It takes paper flowers from any craft store and makes them look pressed from the garden.
Please give it a try and say a prayer, if you will, for all those suffering from cancer.
Thanks!

Our Daily Bread...

I'm not in a particularly blue mood but I needed a thank you note and I find lately, unfortunately, I need sympathy and thinking of you cards. I had purchased the "Birds & Butterfly Labels" stamps from Our Daily Bread at the last stamp convention I attended. They are compatible with the Spellbinders Labels 18 which I already had.
Today while cleaning my stamp room for a stamping day tomorrow I found the stamps and decided I needed to play.
What fun to go to the Our Daily Bread site http://www.ourdailybreaddesigns.com.
There I found a quickie card that I put my own spin on.
Thank you to Kush for your inspiration.
The most fun came when I used my water color pen and my Adirondack Denim dye pad to water color around the edge of the stamped image that I had cut out with my largest Label 18.
More stamping tomorrow...I can hardly wait!

My cards are on Google search!!!!

I Googled "House Mouse rubber stamped cards".
To my surprise there were the House Mouse cards from here at the blog!
Because of that I decided to place a few more of my past House Mouse cards.

I also plan to look for new images to create more cards...can you tell I love House Mouse???
