An apple a day...

or in my case a bowl of oatmeal a day!

Decided to use as much from my scrap stash as I can for the next bunch of challenges.
It is FAR too large and I am having trouble closing the drawer.

In this case I started with a white card stock base card and layer a small piece of the "lumberjack" plaid paper to the bottom.
I placed a strip of black card stock to the top of the plaid.
On to another piece of extra white card stock and I stamped it with images from Lawn Fawn's "Thanks a Bushel" set using Adirondack pitch black ink.
I colored the images using Chameleon pens and die cut out the images using the Lawn Fawn coordinating dies.
To make the bushel pop I backed it with a square of black card stock.
Finally I glue dotted all the images down.

    1. I come from Western New York apple country and have five trees on my property so I can't resist them, even if it's Wintertime!

  2. Your apples pair perfectly with the plaid paper - well done on reducing the size of your scrap box too! Thanks for joining in with my sketch challenge over at The Paper Players this week!

    1. Sadly it's a very small piece from a very big stash.
