In the case of this card the sentiment is the card!
I used white card stock and placed painter's tape around the edge.
I cut a circle into a post-it note and used it as a negative mask, not he circle but the note it was cut from.
Lightly sponged Adirondack butterscotch for the sun,
then ripped some text weight paper and used it to as a stencil to sponge Adirondack stone washed first, then the Adirondack slate.
The verse from Penny Black, was stamped over the stenciling with Staz-On black.
Once everything was dried I layered it onto a grey base card with foam tape.
