This is fun as every time I watch one of my British shows I hear those peacocks in the background!!!
I started with white card stock and sponged Adirondack inks "eggplant", "denim" and "stream".
Once it was dried I used my feather, not sure if it's a peacock or not, from Spellbinders "Inspire/Feathers on the Wind" to die cut.
Using Adirondack "eggplant" ink I stamped the verse from Little Yellow Bicycle after gluing the feathers to the card front.
I couldn't resist adding a little 5 petal flower punched from one of my little punches.
All went on a white base card with two opposite end corners rounded.
What a terrific design for the challenge...love that extra little flower punch! Thanks for sharing at Less is More!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful feather dies, and so perfectly suited to our colour challenge! I love the calm.elegant feeling of this card. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
ReplyDeleteAww they're lovely. Though out of the corner of my eye, the feathers do look like little monsters arguing, the eye and then a mouth. Which makes me giggle too. Cos on the one hand I see lovely feathers, on the other, little monstrs looking out of the corner of their eye....
ReplyDeleteum. I mean that in a nice way. *worries I've been rude*
ReplyDeleteSuperbly CAS and fabulous use of those exotic colours here

Great use of the peacock colours, and you've managed to get such vibrancy from those inks too.
