Take a leap...

I use die cuts a lot! but as I was thinking of this card for a friend I wondered what it would be like to negative die cut.

My submission below is for the Take a Leap Challenge on

It was surprisingly easy. I stamped the Stampin' Up image on white card stock and using my chalk pencils, I colored her in.
Then layered my card except for the top. I ran the top through my Cuttlebug using dies from Little Yellow Bicycle, out came the hello. I taped the top onto the card.
To make sure the little pieces went where they should I took out the pieces and placed the hello back in.
I put a small amount of glue in each space and immediately placed the pieces. Be careful not to get too much glue or the hello will stick.
Quickly take out your hello, tweezers will help.
There you have it. Negative hello AND you can save the positive hello for another card!
