Tim Holtz Christmas...

Two days ago I went though all my Tim Holtz Stash.
I found many unopened bottles of Distress stain and wondered what to do with them.
Checked out YouTube and found one of Tim Holtz’s very early videos where he said these were good for filling large areas.
So I took a piece of heavy white card stock, ran it though the BigKick in the Tim Holtz “Poinsettias” texture fade (embossing folder) and smeared it with the Distress candied apple stain.
Today I pulled it out to make a very fun Christmas card.
The base card is white linen card stock.
I took the red piece and die cut the Tim Holtz “Poinsettia Pieces” (just the flower) and glued it to the base card.
Using the same die and only place ing the DCWV gold metallic card stock on the berries I cut those out and glued them to the red piece.
On more of the gold card stock I die cut one of the sentiments from Tim Holtz “Christmas Ribbon”.

  3. What a fun, festive card and I love the stylish design! The texture and gold elements take this to another level and how great that you used your older stash to create this beauty.
