farmer father...

At this point I am still getting cards ready for May Card Ministry...Father’s Day!
But couldn’t resist this challenge and how I could make it for Father’s Day.
I only have one “boy” stamp and felt that he could be reading a book about the farm his family owns and how he loves his Dad.
The base card is white card stock.
Using a large post-it note as a mask I drew the lines with Distress marker brushed corduroy and sponged it with the same Distress ink.
For the top I flipped the note and covered the “floor” , then cut a dream bubble from another note and applied it to the top before sponging with Distress antique linen ink.
I held onto the outside of the bubble and place that on the card and sponged the inside of the bubble with Distress ink twisted citron and stormy sky.
On another piece of white card stock I stamped the horse from MFT Stamps “Farm-tasic” and the boy from MFT Stamps “Our Story” using MFT insulation pink ink.
Then I colored them both with Prisma pencils and trimmed them out to apply to the card front.
To finish I stamped the verse from MFT “Farm-tastic” using StazOn jet black ink and colored the eyes on both the images with a Prismacolor Premier fine line black marker.
