I couldn't feature just one creature...

So I went back to my Roll-a-graphs that I had taken off of the wheel and found a farmyard scene for my submission to...

The text is comes from a set by My Favorite Things.

I stamped the animals in black and used color pencil.

I miss working on the farm but I am just too old to toss pumpkins!

P.S.
You may note the cutting line above the sun and clouds. Please learn from my mistake. I had stamped other texts from this set with no problem, but for some reason this one wouldn't work. Left big blank spaces. Tried it on other card stock, thought maybe it was the linen...didn't work! I ended up using another text from the set and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately I had already messed up the first piece and I didn't want to color another set of animals, family coming for dinner soon, so I just cut them out and added them to the text piece!

Touchy feely...

My submission for the
is not what most people would consider touchy feely...however!

I have a son with Down's syndrome and when I was teaching him through infant stimulation is wasn't all about rough, or soft.
As in the case of this card...

A friend had read my blog in the past and noted I used bags from my favorite quilt shop for background.
She wondered if this bag wound work. It is from the 30's and very shiny and smooth.
I decided to add another texture with my die cut from Little Yellow Bicycle and textured card stock.

Touchy feely can be anything you feel!

Take a leap...

I use die cuts a lot! but as I was thinking of this card for a friend I wondered what it would be like to negative die cut.

My submission below is for the Take a Leap Challenge on

It was surprisingly easy. I stamped the Stampin' Up image on white card stock and using my chalk pencils, I colored her in.
Then layered my card except for the top. I ran the top through my Cuttlebug using dies from Little Yellow Bicycle, out came the hello. I taped the top onto the card.
To make sure the little pieces went where they should I took out the pieces and placed the hello back in.
I put a small amount of glue in each space and immediately placed the pieces. Be careful not to get too much glue or the hello will stick.
Quickly take out your hello, tweezers will help.
There you have it. Negative hello AND you can save the positive hello for another card!

DAY THIRTY!!!

Here is my submission for day 30, the final day of

It was quite an experiment in being able to take time to color every day.
It did make me better at getting blog posts out and trying things that would interest people as well as build up my supply of cards.

I stamped the Stampin' Up lady on white card stock and colored her with chalk pencils. I love the effect this has with this set of stamps.
The text is from a set by Little Yellow Bicycle from Hobby Lobby.
The inks are from my Adirondack pads by Ranger,
I have a friend whose daughter is battling cancer and I just think this would be perfect for her!

Thank you for joining me on this journey and I will try to keep posting as I try new and exciting challenges.
