This was a "real" surprise...

I went to the stamping ministry that meets once a month at my friend's church. We usually bring in items that we have purchased and have decided not to use for one reason or another.

One time my friend, lynda, brought some Paper Parachute papers that she had decided she didn't want.
I had no idea what I would do with it and tucked it away.

Then I was cleaning out the other day and found them. They were right next to my Spectrum markers.

That's when I "had" to put them together.
The great thing was finding out that the markers don't bleed through the paper!
Thank you lynda!!!
I was very pleased with the results. I hope you are too!!!

Updates on a couple of previous posts...

The first are the rest of the "Black & White" cards.

Now for the embossing folders.
The posting, "The first few days of my mini vacation..."
I had a three ring binder to put them in but they just didn't fit in the small binder. I really was disappointed as they slipped out of the pockets I made for them.
SO...
yesterday I stopped at Office Max on my way home and found a perfect replacement. It is a Five Star made by Mead. It has a zipper to keep all the folders in, a handle to carry them wherever I travel and last but not least... it was in the clearance rack for only $8.00!

I just love when a plan comes together.

Black & white...

the last card ministry meeting the ladies decided to have a black and white challenge! So much fun!
Here are the cards I have made at the meeting (I made a few others but donated those to the ministry)..

But I was SO inspired that I had to keep creating at home...

This is what can happen when you limit yourself to a few items and colors. This all started with one pad of patterned black and white paper. It makes you create in a whole new way!!!

Give it a try and enjoy your creativity!!!
